The scenic area does not charge admission fees for children under 14 years old, but for safety reasons, insurance for $2 per person is required. We will contact you to make up the difference.

If you need to store your luggage, we recommend that you proceed to the park exit and store it at the nearby visitor center. Then, take the free shuttle bus to the park entrance.

Flight: Arrive at Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport. The airport provides a direct shuttle bus to the scenic area(approximately 1 hour journey, fare 30 RMB).
High-speed Train: Arrive at Zhangjiajie West Railway Station. Walk 5 minutes to the high-speed rail bus station and take a direct bus to the scenic area (approximately 1 hour journey, fare 22 RMB). Then take the free shuttle bus to the ticket window at the mountaintop visitor center.
Bus: Bus lines 5 and 6 both terminate at Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. You can reach the scenic area from the bus station, Zhangjiajie North Railway Station, Zhangjiajie West High-Speed Rail Station, or other popular attractions (such as the Seventy-Two Wonders Tower, Charming Xiangxi, Forest Park, and Eternal Love).
Things You Should Know:
- Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon (especially the glass bridge) explicitly prohibits people with heart disease, high blood pressure, acrophobia, and pregnant women from entering; at the same time, it is strictly forbidden to bring cameras, thermos cups, high heels, or other items that may endanger safety.
- All visitors must bring valid identification to enter the scenic area.
- In bad weather, the scenic area will be temporarily closed or partially closed. Please pay attention to weather bulletins in a timely manner.
- For your safety, all visitors must wear flat-soled or hiking shoes.
