Hohhot is the capital of the Nei Mongol Autonomous Region. There are two mainly use train station in Hohhot, which are Hohhot Railway Station and Hohhot East Station. Hohhot Railway Station is an old station, which is founded in 1921, largest modernization station. The location of Hohhot East Railway Station is close to city center and is not very far away from Hohhot Station, which only 9 kilometer away.

Hohhot East Station adopts the layout of elevated waiting and off-line exit, namely the form of "advancing and exiting", which divides the station into three levels: elevated level, platform level and exit level. There are 30 ticket windows in the ticket hall of Hohhot East Station, and the waiting hall area is nearly five times larger than that of Hohhot Station.

Hohhot Grassland

The Hohhot Grassland, also known as the Wanmu Grassland or the "backyard garden" of Qingcheng, is located in Yematou Village, Baoheshao Town, Hohhot City. It is the closest grassland to Hohhot and is the main venue for the 70th anniversary celebration of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The grassland is not only covered in lush green grass, but it is also home to the largest Mongolian yurt and the Hohhot Grassland Conference Center.
