  • Huangshan–Hangzhou: 30 high-speed trains run from Huangshan North Railway Station to Hangzhou East Railway Station each day. The journey takes about 1½ hours and costs 118 yuan per second-class seat ticket.

  • Huangshan–Shanghai: Over ten high-speed trains run each day from Huangshan North Railway Station to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. The journey takes about 3 hours and costs about 191 yuan per second-class ticket.

Since Huangshan North Railway Station is not a big railway station, you can only find few restaurants in it.

For Western-style food, you can find KFC and McDonald in the station.

For local Chinese food, I strongly advise you to try Huangshan traditional food such as Soy Braised Mandarin Fish (臭鳜鱼) and hairy tofu (毛豆腐).
