“Fuxing Hao” high-speed train was once put into use between Beijing and Shanghai in the middle year of 2017. It is the world’s fastest commercial use high-speed train in the world.

The Extended Version of “Fuxing Hao”

With the advent of “Fuxing Hao” high-speed trains, the ticket demand is getting greater.

Therefore, the extended version of “Fuxing Hao” added its length from 8 carriages to 16 carriages, while keeping its speed at 350km/h. The total length reaches 415 meters and each train can accommodate 1193 people.

See from a distance, the moving “Fuxing Hao” is like a huge dragon running through the way.

Five Things about the New Extended “Fuxing Hao”

  1. There is only one business class carriage with 17 – 20 seats available.
  2. The lights can be adjusted to both cold light and warm light according to the indoor temperature.
  3. Further noise reduction processing: reduce the ear discomfort when passing through the tunnels.
  4. Better and more humanized facilities.
  5. Microwave ovens are available to use.

How Can I Experience the Extended Version of “Fuxing Hao”

At present, there are four pairs of the extended “Fuxing Hao” operating between Beijing–Shanghai railway line:

  • G3, G2: pass by Beijing South Railway Station, Jinan West, Nanjing South Railway Station, and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
  • G11, G10: pass by Beijing South Railway Station, Jinan West Railway Station, Nanjing South Railway Station, and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
  • G149, G118: pass by Beijing South, Cangzhou West, Dezhou East, Jinan West, Tai’an, Tengzhou East, Xuzhou East, Suzhou East, Bengbu South, Nanjing South, Zhenjiang South, Wuxi East, Suzhou North, and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
  • G17, G14: pass by Beijing South, Nanjing South, and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
