Hefei is in eastern China, at the western end of the Yangtze River Delta, and it’s a city in southern China. The total area of the city is 11408.48 square kilometers, and the urban area is 838.52 square kilometers. Hefei is famous for its historical buildings, among which are Baogong Temple, Xiaoyao Jin, Sipai Pai, Chenghuang Temple and Hui Yuan.

It can be seen that Hefei Station plays an important role in changing the appearance of the city by setting up a new urban area for the new station. Hefei Station has become a new coordinate of urban development, recorded in the historical archives of Hefei's urban development and changes.
The station operates both normal and high-speed trains. Passengers can take trains to many major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi'an, and Nanjing.
