Nyingchi railway station
Located in Nyingchi, Tibet Autonomous Region, China. It belongs to China Railway Qinghai-Tibet Group Co., Ltd., and is also a passenger station on the Lalin section of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway. Construction of Nyingchi Station began in July 2019;The roof of the main structure of the station house has been completed on June 6, 2020.The main construction of the station has been completed in July 2020.
Nyingchi is known as the "Little Jiangnan of Tibet". The station houses in Nyingchi are white and saubergine in color. The design of the station houses shows the huge landscape, rich ecological climate and magnificent natural scenery of the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon, highlighting the concept of "Ecological Nyingchi".
Station use peach flowers as the design theme, with lines stitching out the shape pattern of the Namjagbarwa peak, the interior space of the column quoting the tibetian-style Dougong shape, in order to reflect the spirit of the people of southeast Tibet indomitable spirit, but also to give the indoor space effect of the majestic atmosphere.

Lhasa to Nyingchi High-Speed Train

The station room of Nyingchi Station is divided into two floors above ground and one floor below ground. The first floor is equipped with ticket office and direct access to platform 1. The second floor leads to platform 2 and 3 through the overpass; Waiting rooms are provided on both floors. Nyingchi Climate
The weather in Nyingchi is rather cold. There is little difference between winter and spring in Nyingchi. From November to the middle of April, the weather is mainly sunny and relatively dry. The wind is strong in the afternoon, and the lowest temperature is about minus 8 degrees, while the highest temperature in the daytime is about 15 degrees (outdoors). Rain in summer is more abundant, the temperature is about 12-26 degrees; The weather in Autumn is more refreshing, the temperature in 12-20 degrees, the afternoon wind is relatively strong.
The average elevation of Nyingchi is about 3,000 meters, while the lowest point is only 900 meters, which is lower than other areas in Tibet in terms of height.
It has the largest vertical landform drop in the world.
The Himalayas and the Nyainqentangula range run parallel from west to east, and the white snow-capped peak on the ridge of the dragon is "Nanja Bawa". At 7782 meters above sea level, it is the highest snow-capped peak in the southern section of the Himalayas. It joins with the Hengduan Range, forming a unique terrain surrounded by mountains.

Namcha Barwa
It is the highest mountain in Nyingchi and the 15th highest peak in the world. It has been rated as the "Most Beautiful Snowy Mountain in China" by China National Geographic. The glacier on the top of the mountain is tall and beautiful in shape. There are often clouds and mists in the mountains. At the foot of the mountain, there is the beautiful scenery of the southern part of Tibet with dense vegetation. Peach blossoms bloom here every spring, and photographing the snow-capped peaks covered by the flowers is a favorite of many photographers.
Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon
The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is the deepest canyon on the earth. Every year from mid to late March to early May, the century-old peach blossoms in the scenic spot are rich in tapestry. Early May and early October are the best hiking seasons. Gongbu Tibetan villages are scattered in the Grand Canyon, maintaining the unchanging life tradition from ancient times.
Baksum Lake (巴松措)
Baksum Lake, which means "green water" in Tibetan, is a famous sacred lake of the Red Religion. Every year around June 1, on the 15th day of April in the Tibetan calendar, many local people come to visit the lake.
There is a Zhaxi Island in the heart of Baksum Lake, which can be reached by sightseeing yacht. The Cuozong Gongba Temple on the island is a famous red religion temple in Tibet. It was built in the late Tang Dynasty. On the left and right sides of the gate are wooden carvings of men and women's genitalia.
Baksum Lake has excellent outdoor hiking conditions, with lake accommodation or camping options.
